Nigeria striker Olamide Adugbe has joined Italian Serie B women’s side Freedom FC on a loan deal.

The 22-year-old player moved from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side Naija Ratels to Italian Serie A women’s outfit Napoli in September 2024.

She also played for Rivers Angels in the NWFL Premiership and won the 2024 President Federation Cup title with the Port Harcourt-based side before moving to Italy.

After six league games for Napoli, Adugbe sealed a loan move to Freedom FC.

She will put on jersey number 88 at her new team.

On Sunday, the player is expected to play her first match in the Italian women’s Serie B.

Freedom FC will welcome VIS Mediterranea in their next league game with Adugbe expected to play her debut match for her new side.
