Nigeria international Francisca Ordega recently met with Nji Oumar Nichare, the Consul General of Cameroon, during her return to the country for the international break.
Ordega, who currently plays for Al Ittihad in the Saudi Women’s Premier League, took to social media to share photos from the memorable encounter.
She expressed her gratitude, writing, “With the CONSUL GENERAL OF CAMEROON 🇨🇲 H.E NJI OUMAR NCHARE. I am deeply grateful for your incredible gesture towards me yesterday. It was a night full of excitement. Merci beaucoup🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼.”
The veteran forward previously played alongside Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses captain Gabrielle Onguéné at WFC CSKA Moscow.
After leaving the Russian club a month ago, Ordega has quickly made her mark at Al Ittihad, where she joined her compatriot Ashleigh Plumptre.
This meeting with the Consul General highlights the mutual respect and camaraderie between African football figures as Ordega continues her successful career in Saudi Arabia.
