Asisat Oshoala delivered a sensational performance as Al Hilal Women cruised into the final of the Saudi Women’s Cup with a dominant 5-1 victory over Al Qadsiah Women on Friday.
Al Hilal completed a commanding 7-2 aggregate win after overwhelming their opponents in an entertaining semi-final clash.
Oshoala opened the scoring in the 36th minute before Jessica Silva doubled Al Hilal’s advantage three minutes later. Njara Nchout briefly pulled one back for Al Qadsiah in the 41st minute, but Oshoala struck again just two minutes later to restore Al Hilal’s two-goal cushion before halftime.
The Nigerian star completed her hat-trick in the 73rd minute to put the contest beyond doubt, while Ghizlane Chebbak added further gloss to the scoreline with a late penalty in the 89th minute.
The emphatic victory sends Al Hilal into the Saudi Women’s Cup final in impressive fashion, with Oshoala once again proving decisive on the big stage.
