Bay FC respond to Asisat Oshoala’s move to Al-Hilal

National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) side, Bay FC has responded to the permanent deal of Nigeria international, Asisat Oshoala who was unveiled by Saudi Arabia side, Al Hilal on Tuesday.
The six-time African Women’s Player of the Year Oshoala officially completed her move from NWSL club Bay FC to Al Hilal, signing a two-year contract.
Oshoala joined Bay FC in February 2024 and made 38 appearances, scoring seven goals during her time with the expansion side.
Bay FC Sporting Director Matt Potter praised the 30-year-old forward for her contributions both on and off the pitch.
“Asisat has been an incredibly important part of Bay FC history, not only with her impact on the pitch but also through the energy, professionalism, and kindness she brought every day,” He said.
She is a world-class player and an even better person, and we are grateful for everything she contributed to our club in its first season. We wish her nothing but success as she takes this next step in her career with Al Hilal.”
The move to Saudi Arabia represents another milestone in Oshoala’s illustrious career, having previously starred for clubs across Europe, Asia, and North America.
