AS Monaco have confirmed the signing of Nigerian-Danish striker Ekene Chukwuani who has joined the club’s Academy on his first professional contract with the Rouge et Blanc.
Born in Hvidovre, Denmark, Chukwuani is known for his attacking prowess, natural goal-scoring instinct, and versatility across the frontline.

Standing at 1.87m, the left-footed forward primarily operates as a centre-forward but is also effective on the right side of attack.

His youth career began with B1973 Herlev, before progressing through Akademisk Boldklub and later Brøndby IF where he honed his technical and physical attributes.

Chukwuani has already represented Denmark at youth level, earning three caps and scoring twice for the U17 national team although he’s still very much eligible to represent Nigeria.

In addition to appearances with the Danish U16s. He arrives at Monaco following an exceptional season with Brøndby U17 where he netted an impressive 25 goals in 23 matches.

With his combination of size, athleticism, and eye for goal, Chukwuani is viewed as one of the most promising talents in Monaco’s Academy setup, and the club is excited to support his development as he aims to make his mark at the professional level.
