Princess Leonor has delighted Spanish football fans after teasing World Cup match-winner Ferran Torres about failing to honour his promise to shave his head if Spain lifted the trophy.

The light-hearted exchange took place during a royal reception for the national team at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid, following Spain’s 1-0 victory over Argentina in Sunday’s World Cup final.

Torres scored the only goal of the game to secure La Roja’s second world title, sending the country into days of celebrations that culminated in an open-top bus parade through the capital before the formal events with the royal family and the government at La Moncloa.
