Belgian club KRC Genk have reached an agreement with Italian side Pisa for the signing of Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi.
Transfer specialist Gianluca Di Marzio revealed that the deal is worth €10.5 million, with additional performance-related bonuses. Pisa have also negotiated a 10% sell-on clause, ensuring they will benefit from any future transfer involving the Nigerian forward.
The move will become the biggest transfer sale in Pisa’s history, eclipsing the previous club record established by Lorenzo Lucca’s transfer to Udinese in 2024.
Durosinmi joined Pisa from Czech outfit Viktoria Plzeň during the January transfer window but is already set for another move after attracting strong interest from Genk.
The 23-year-old will now continue his career in Belgium, where he is expected to strengthen Genk’s attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
During his brief spell with Pisa, Durosinmi featured in 12 Serie A matches, scoring once and providing one assist for the Black and Blues.
