Shakiru Giwa steps down as Inter Lagos head coach after technical team dissolved

Inter Lagos head coach Shakiru Giwa has resigned after the club dissolved its entire technical crew with immediate effect, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The club’s management confirmed the decision, marking the latest change at Inter Lagos as they review their technical structure.

Giwa’s departure makes him the first managerial casualty of the ongoing EuromatchNPFL 2026/2027 season.

Inter Lagos are now reassessing their technical direction following the coach’s exit. The club has not yet named Giwa’s replacement or announced details of a new technical crew.
