Euromatch NPFL: Ayeni backs Doma United to recover lost points

Doma United coach Deji Ayeni says his side can end their difficult run and quickly make up the points they have dropped in the NPFL.

The Savanah Tigers are currently 10th in the league table, but Ayeni does not believe that position accurately represents the team’s ability.

Doma United have taken four points from their past six league matches, recording one win, two draws and three defeats during that sequence.

Despite the disappointing results, Ayeni remains confident that his squad can begin another winning run. Speaking to Completesports.com, he acknowledged his frustration but insisted the players were working to reverse their fortunes.

“It’s so unfortunate we aren’t getting the results to take us higher,” Ayeni admitted. “However, we are doing everything to get back to winning ways.”

The coach said Doma United needed only one important result to regain momentum and start a more positive spell.

“We just need that one key result to kickstart another positive run. I have absolute faith in these players to turn things around.”
