Christy Ucheibe scores as SL Benfica reach Taça de Portugal semi-final

Nigeria midfielder Christy Ucheibe scored a goal during Portuguese Champions SL Benfica’s 5-0 win over Sporting in the quarter-final of Taça de Portugal on Saturday.

Jessica Silva scored the first goal of the match for SL Benfica in the 15th before doubling the lead three minutes later.

Ana Vitoria increased Benfica’s lead to three before the end of the first half and she extended her side’s lead to four in the 52nd minute after the interval.

It was the turn of Ucheibe to find the back of the net in the 76th minute as she sealed a 5-0 win.

Ucheibe played for Nasarawa Amazons in the 2018 season.
