Nigeria-eligible Rinsola Babajide rediscovers scoring boot against Levante Las Planas

Nigeria-eligible forward Rinsola Babajide was on target for Spanish Liga F side, Betis during an entertaining 2-2 draw in a league encounter.
Babajide, who is yet to found the back of the net in her side’s last six games equalised in the 21st minute for Betis after Irina Uribe had given the host a 23rd-minute lead.
Angel Sossa gave Betis the lead from Grace Asantewaa’s assist at the half-hour mark before Paz Vila Dono found the equaliser seven minutes from time.
Babajide who has scored five goals in 18 league games for Betis was replaced by Ode Fulutudilu in the 66th minute.
She is still eligible to represent Nigeria after playing for England at age grade level, having being part of the England U20s squad that claimed bronze at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
In September 2020 she was included in a training camp for the England women’s national football team.
On the other hand, Ngozi Okobi-Ekeoghene replaced Natalie Rose Muth in the 56th minute for Las Palnas.
Betis occupy the 13th position with 15 points after 20 games, two points behind 12th placed Las Planas.
