Enyimba youngster Chidiebere Nnachi relishes dream debut in Akwa United win

Enyimba FC young sensation Chidiebere Nnachi has described his debut with the People’s Elephants as ‘greatest achievement’ in his football career.

Following his switch from Top-level Academy this summer, Nnachi earned his first start for the People’s Elephants on Sunday during their 3-2 win over Akwa United in a Nigeria Premier Football League encounter in Aba.

The enterprising winger, who was born and raised in Aba, described the outing as a dream come true to finally wear and play for his boyhood team and would love to represent the club for more times.

“It is one of my biggest achievements in life, as I finally made it to play for Enyimba,” he told the club media.

“I was born and bred here in Aba, and have been coming to the stadium here to watch Enyimba play for years now, and immediately I got invited to the main team for trials.

“I told myself that I would do my best to be part of the team, and luckily I made it to the main team.”
