Ashleigh Plumptre named in Saudi Women’s Premier League Team of the Week

Nigeria star defender, Ashleigh Plumptre has been named in the Saudi Arabia Women’s Premier League following breathtaking performance from Al-Ittihad.
Al-Ittihad crushed Al-Riyahd 13-2 with Plumptre scoring a goal and making two assists in the game.
The defender netted a superb goal in the 56th minute before bagging two assists in the game.
The Super Falcons defender joined Al-Ittihad From Leicester City and she has gone to make a mark in the league.
Plumptre has scored a total of eight goals this year with the recent coming off an header against Al-Riyahd.
Al-Ittihad next game will come up against Al Hilal on Saturday, March 23 at the Prince Faisal bin Fahad Stadium, Jeddah.
The Tigers (Al-Numoor) are second on the Saudi Arabia Women’s Premier League with 19 points from 11 matches.
