Bundesliga: Super-sub Nathan Tella inspires Leverkusen to historic win over Hoffenheim

Nigerian winger, Nathan Tella came from bench to provide the needed assist for Bayer Leverkusen to record a comeback 2-1 Bundesliga win over TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday.
The Die Werkself picked it from where they left it before international with scintillating performance.
This time, Xabi Alonso’s men did it in a dramatic version as they were staring at their first defeat of the season till two minutes to end the normal time.
However, they turned the game on it’s head with two quick goals within three minutes.
Maximilian Meier has given Hoffenheim a first half lead stabbing home an assist from Wout Weghorst.
Alonso tweaked his team in the second half with introduction of Nathan and Borja Inglesias in the attack which would later paid off for the host.
Their equalizer came in the 88th minutes which cool finish from Robert Andrich before Tella laid it on a plate for Patrick Schick to score the winner in the stoppage time.
That was Tella’s seventh goal involvement (five goals and two assists) for the Die Werkself this campaign.
The win has also stretched Leverkusen’s unbeaten run in all competitions to 39 matches just as leave with three matches before winning the Bundesliga title.
