Newly acquired Sevilla winger Chidera Ejuke has disclosed that his desire for more success and his quest to develop as a player motivated his move to the LaLiga giants.
The Super Eagles forward completed a three-year deal with the Andalusian club on Sunday after an impressive loan stint with Royal Antwerp last season.
Ejuke, who was unveiled on Monday at Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, expressed his commitment to helping the club achieve greatness again.
“I know it is a good city and a great club with strong traditions. It has won many trophies in recent years,” he said.
“I know it is a great club with ambitions. They always aim to be at the top, competing for trophies and everything. With the caliber of players on the team and, obviously, with me joining, I believe we can do everything possible to get the club back to where it should be.”
He acknowledged the challenges ahead but emphasized the importance of unity and determination.
“There are going to be challenges, obviously, during these periods, but I know that, as a team, we will be united to achieve it. It is a great club, and it deserves to be where it should be,” he concluded.
