Chinwendu Ihezuo and Osinachi Ohale score for Pachuca against Toluca

Nigeria duo of Chinwendu Ihezuo and Osinachi Ohale scored a goal each for Pachuca as their team defeated Toluca 3-1 in the Mexican Liga MX encounter on Tuesday.
The visitors had a slow start to the match, with Amandine Henry’s led side pushing for the opener, which eventually came in the 16th minute.
After numerous attempts without finding the back of the net including hitting the woodwork, Brenda broke the deadlock for Pachuca.
They also had chances of increasing the lead but failed to convert them before the end of the first half.
A resurgent Pachuca equalized seven minutes into the second half through Ohale’s header from a corner kick.
From a free kick, another Nigerian, Ihezuo headed Pachuca ahead in the 71st minute.
Three minutes later, captain Veronica Corral sealed the win with the third goal.
Ohale played the duration of the game while Ihezuo was replaced by Nayeli Diaz in the 94th minute as she scored her eighth goal in nine games.
Former AS Roma defender, Ohale has scored two goals for Pachuca in the league this season.
Pachuca returned to the top of the Mexican women’s league with 35 points after 13 games, the same as UANL Tigres.
