Chippa United handed FIFA ban preventing new signings for three transfer windows

South African Premier Soccer League club Chippa United have been barred from registering new players for three consecutive registration periods, according to the latest FIFA disciplinary measures.
The restriction means the club cannot register any new signings during the affected transfer windows unless the ban is lifted.
Chippa United’s squad includes Nigeria international goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, who rejoined the club before the ongoing season. He remains one of the team’s key players.
Nwabali has also become an important figure for the Super Eagles in recent seasons.
BSNSports.com.ng reports that the FIFA registration ban has been imposed on Chippa United.
