Comfort Erhabor Celebrates Maiden Super Falcons Call-Up

Portsmouth F.C. Women goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor has expressed delight after receiving her first invitation to the Nigeria women’s national football team.

Erhabor is one of four goalkeepers named by head coach Justine Madugu for Nigeria’s upcoming double-header friendlies against Cameroon.

The other goalkeepers invited are Chiamaka Nnadozie, Anderline Mgbechi, and Fatima Oloko.

The 20-year-old previously represented Nigeria at the U-17 level and now earns her first senior team call-up.

Taking to social media platform X, Erhabor shared her excitement:

“An honour to have received my first senior call up, thank you Jesus 🇳🇬.”

Erhabor began her career at West Ham United F.C. Women before moving to Brighton & Hove Albion W.F.C., where she signed her first professional contract in January 2024.

She also had loan spells with Hibernian W.F.C. and Plymouth Argyle W.F.C. prior to joining Portsmouth.

Erhabor will now be aiming to impress in camp and secure a place in Nigeria’s final squad for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
