Eric Chelle Motivated as NSC Clears All Entitlements, Pays Coach in Full

Nigeria head coach Eric Chelle is said to be in high spirits and fully focused on delivering success with Nigeria after receiving all his financial entitlements from the leadership of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Totori News reports.

An insider disclosed in Fez, Morocco, that the French tactician has been paid in full, including his January 2026 salary, removing any financial distractions ahead of Nigeria’s knockout-stage campaign at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

“Eric Chelle is in a good state of mind financially. He has been paid all his entitlements, including his January 2026 salary,” the source told www.totorinews.com

According to the report, Chelle has earned a total of $60,000 so far, broken down as $20,000 per match, in addition to a daily allowance of $400 since the team opened camp in Egypt before moving to Morocco for the tournament.

The source praised the NSC for its professionalism and timely payments, noting the positive impact on the camp atmosphere.

“The NSC has done well in this regard. The coaches are happy, the players are not complaining, and the fans are not grumbling because the team is playing very well and winning,” he added.

Nigeria have enjoyed an impressive AFCON campaign under Chelle, finishing the group stage with a perfect record. With financial matters settled and morale high, the Super Eagles’ camp remains calm and united as attention shifts fully to the business end of the tournament.
