Nigeria forward Gift Monday has officially renewed her contract with Spanish Liga F side Costa Adeje Tenerife for three more seasons, keeping her with the club until 2026.

Club President Sergio Batista emphasized that this renewal is a vital reward for their standout players.

Expressing her gratitude, Monday stated that the renewal provides her with the opportunity to grow alongside the team.

“My dream is to help the team, contribute positively to achieve victories, and win more games,” she shared.

“I felt the support of the entire club, the love of my teammates, and the overall environment.”

In her third season with Tenerife, Monday originally joined from FC Robo Queens in the Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership during the 2022/2023 season.

She scored three goals and provided three assists in her first season, followed by an impressive six goals and one assist in the 2023/2024 campaign.

So far this season, she has already netted two goals and contributed one assist after just two league games.

Monday promised fans that she will continue to give her best for the club.
