Gift Orban scores and assists as Amedspor thrash Eyupspor 5-1

Gift Orban scored once and created another goal as Amedspor extended their unbeaten run to eight matches with a commanding 5-1 victory over Eyupspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.

Ermal Krasniqi put Amedspor ahead after 13 minutes, finishing a move set up by Rayan Lutin.

Orban doubled the hosts’ advantage 10 minutes before half-time with an impressive left-footed finish. The goal took the Nigerian forward’s tally to nine goals and four assists in 10 appearances in all competitions for Amedspor this season.

The 24-year-old then supplied the pass for Samuel Ballet to make it 3-0 three minutes before the interval.

Ballet added two more goals after the break to complete his hat-trick and round off a dominant display by Amedspor.

However, the forward’s afternoon finished badly when he was shown a red card in stoppage time for violent conduct.

The result keeps Amedspor second in the league table, two points behind leaders Galatasaray.
