Gusau backs Shehu Dikko’s success as Chairman of the National Sports Commission

Ibrahim Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has expressed his full support for Shehu Dikko, the newly appointed chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC).
Gusau congratulated Dikko on his significant new role and conveyed his confidence that the former NPFL board chairman possesses the knowledge and experience necessary for success.
Reflecting on their eight years of collaboration, Gusau praised Dikko’s resourcefulness and vision, emphasizing his belief that Dikko will elevate Nigerian football to new heights.
“On behalf of the NFF and the entire Nigerian football community, I warmly congratulate Mallam Shehu Dikko on this major national assignment,” Gusau stated, as reported by the NFF.
“I have no doubt that he has the knowledge, skill, experience, steadfastness, temperament, diligence, and intelligence to succeed in the National Sports Commission.”
He added, “Having served together on the same NFF Board for nearly eight years, I can attest to his enterprise and resourcefulness.
“He is a man full of meaningful and positive ideas, and the Nigeria Football Federation will surely collaborate with him to advance our football to new heights of excellence.”
Dikko is also a member of the CAF Inter-Clubs Committee and the FIFA Football Stakeholders Committee, further underscoring his extensive experience in sports governance.
