Iwobi Starts as Arsenal Thrash West Ham; Burnley Hold Stoke

Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi made his 23rd English Premier League appearance this season for Arsenal in Sunday’s 4-1 win over West Ham at the Emirates Stadium. The game marked Arsenal’s first match since Arsene Wenger announced his decision to step down as coach at the end of the season.

Nacho Monreal opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 51st minute with a volley from inside West Ham’s penalty area. However, Marko Arnautovic leveled the score for West Ham in the 64th minute. Late goals from Aaron Ramsey and a brace from Alexandre Lacazette secured the victory for Arsenal.

Arsenal, currently in sixth place with 57 points, maintained their position in the Premier League table. West Ham is 15th with 35 points.

Meanwhile, at the bet365 Stadium, Burnley secured a point against Stoke City with a 1-1 draw. Badou Ndiaye scored for Stoke in the 11th minute, but Ashley Barnes equalized for Burnley in the second half. Stoke remains in the 19th position with 29 points, while Burnley is in seventh place with 53 points.
