Jorge Jesus jeered by Portugal fans before Denmark match amid Cristiano Ronaldo dispute

Jorge Jesus was jeered by some Portugal supporters as the team left their hotel in Copenhagen before Thursday’s Nations League meeting with Denmark.

The Portugal manager was targeted over his recent dispute with captain Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the squad on Wednesday and returned to Madrid after falling out with Jesus.

Video published by Portuguese broadcaster SIC Noticias showed several fans booing Jesus as he departed the team’s hotel in the Danish capital. The incident came shortly before Portugal’s Group D fixture against Denmark at Parken.

Portugal travel to Denmark top of Group D with six points from their opening two matches. Denmark are third on three points, behind Norway on goal difference.
