Michael Olise forced to move out of luxury Munich home amid Real Madrid transfer speculation

French World Cup star Michael Olise will be forced to leave his luxury Munich home at the end of August, even as Bayern Munich insist the forward is not for sale amid strong interest from Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old has been at the centre of intense transfer speculation following his standout performances for France at the 2026 World Cup, where he impressed alongside Kylian Mbappe.

Spanish and European media reports have linked Olise with a high-profile move to Real Madrid, who are said to be keen to reunite the attacking duo that shone for Les Bleus on the biggest stage.

But Bayern Munich, who signed Olise to be a key part of their long-term project, are understood to have no intention of allowing him to leave and consider him untouchable.

Real Madrid eye French partnership in attack

Numerous reports in Spain and Germany have suggested that Real Madrid want to bring Olise to the Santiago Bernabeu to form a formidable attacking partnership with Mbappe.

The two Frenchmen lit up the 2026 World Cup with their interplay and attacking threat, fuelling speculation that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez sees Olise as the ideal complement to Mbappe in La Liga and the Champions League.

Securing Olise would further strengthen a Madrid frontline already bolstered by Mbappe’s arrival, and is viewed in Spain as the next step in assembling a dominant attacking era at the club.

Bayern stand firm over ‘untouchable’ forward

On the other side of the negotiations, Bayern Munich have made it clear they are unwilling to part with the winger.

The German champions view Olise as central to their current and future plans and, according to local reports, have internally labelled him a player who cannot be touched within the Bavarian club’s project.

Bayern believe his age, versatility and recent international form make him a cornerstone of their rebuild and are determined to resist Madrid’s advances.

Departure from Munich home not linked to transfer

In a development that initially fuelled further rumours, German newspaper Bild reported that Olise will leave his current residence in the Grunwald district, south of Munich, by the end of August.

The Frenchman has lived in the property for two years. The house is less than a 10-minute drive from Bayern’s training centre and includes extensive facilities such as a private gym, cinema room, relaxation area with sauna and jacuzzi, and an outdoor swimming pool.

However, Bild reports that the decision is unrelated to any imminent transfer.

The property’s owner, former Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng, has put the villa up for sale. Boateng, who bought the house in 2016 for €7.4m, has reportedly received several offers, with the current market value estimated at around €11.5m.

With Boateng intent on selling the home rather than continuing to rent it out, Olise will have to find new accommodation in the coming weeks.

While the housing change appears to be purely practical, Olise’s future on the pitch remains one of the main storylines of the summer window.
