Nigeria defender Miracle Usani has completed her transfer from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side Abia Angels to Turkish club FOMGET.
The move marks the 19-year-old’s first career stint outside Nigeria, as she begins a new chapter in Turkey and takes on the challenge of playing in a competitive European environment.
For Usani, the transfer represents another significant milestone in a remarkable rise that has seen her progress from Nigerian youth football to the Super Falcons, earn recognition at the CAF Women’s Champions League level and experience continental success.
FOMGET officially confirmed Usani’s arrival as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new campaign.
In announcing the deal, the Turkish side said it had reached an agreement with the Nigerian defender and expressed confidence that she would play an important role in helping the team achieve its targets.
The club also wished Usani a successful campaign and welcomed her to its red and blue colours.
Her move to Turkey provides Usani with an opportunity to test herself against new opposition, gain valuable experience abroad and continue her development at the European level.
She joined compatriot, Agama Zippora at the Club becoming the latest Nigerian player to have moved to the team after Suliat Abideen.

His extensive experience and expertise led to his appointment to the Nigeria Football Federation's Standing Committee on Women's Football Development from 2016 to 2018. Since February 2018, Samuel has been the Social Media Manager for Nigeria's women's national teams.
In 2019, Samuel joined the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as a women's football content contributor and was promoted to Women's Football Editor in 2021. His contributions to women's football continued as he worked as a Media Consultant for Content Creation and Editorials at the 2022 CAF Women's Champions League. Currently, Samuel also serves as the spokesman for the Nigeria Women Football League, further solidifying his influence and dedication to the growth of women's football in Africa.
