In a strategic move to boost the club’s global presence, Niger Tornadoes have stepped up efforts to expand their international footprint through a potential partnership with a foreign club in Turkey.
A high-powered delegation from the Nigerian side has arrived in Turkey to hold high-level strategic discussions. The team is led by the club’s Chairman, Dr. Abubakar Kuso, alongside Sporting Director Mojeed Ibrahim (“Greenboi”), Hon. Jacob Baba Yisa, and Alhaji Ibrahim Audi.
The talks are structured around several core areas aimed at elevating the club’s operations both on and off the pitch:
Exposing local talent to international standards and modern training methodologies.
Building seamless pathways for players to transition into foreign leagues.
Exchanging coaching expertise and administrative best practices.
Unlocking new sponsorship streams to expand the club’s global brand footprint.
“The initiative forms part of Niger Tornadoes’ broader strategy to enhance our commercial value, modernize operations, and establish strong, sustainable international links,” the club noted.
This international mission coincides with ongoing facility improvements back home. Niger Tornadoes are actively upgrading the Bako Kontagora Stadium alongside other key infrastructure projects.
