Nigerian striker Ibrahim Sunusi will continue his journey with Major League Soccer (MLS) side Montreal Impact for the 2024 season, as confirmed by Nigeriafootball.ng.
The former U23 star was one of 16 players retained by the club at the end of the previous season. Among the notable departures was former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Victor Wanyama.
Sunusi, who made a name for himself as the top scorer in the 2019 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with 10 goals in 22 appearances, joined Montreal Impact in 2021.
Since then, he has scored 13 goals in 75 league matches for the Canadian side.
As he heads into another season with The Impact, Sunusi will look to build on his contributions and help the team achieve their goals in the MLS.
