NFF set to unveil Eric Chelle as Super Eagles head coach

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will, on Monday, in the Federal Capital, Abuja, present to the public the new Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Mr. Éric Sékou Chelle.

The event will be at the Media Conference Room of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, by 11 am.

Chelle signed a short-term contract covering World Cup qualifiers (ending October 2025)

He will earn a $50,000 monthly salary in charge of the three-time African champions.

His two assistants will be coming with him to be earning $5,000 each per month.

Remo Stars FC coach Daniel Ogunmodede and his counterparts from Rangers International FC, Illechukwu Fidelis, will join his coaching staff.

The former coach of Mali was appointed as the new head coach of Nigeria earlier this month.

Former international and NFF Head of Technical Department Augustine Eguavoen was in charge of the team and guided them to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers.
