Enyimba have received a significant boost ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup clash with Egyptian side Al Masry, with the return of creative midfielder Chidiebere Nnachi to full training.
Nnachi, who had been sidelined for six weeks due to a thigh injury sustained during a league match, is now back with the team and ready for action.
The Nigerian club confirmed his return, stating that the midfielder is fully involved in preparations for Sunday’s crucial encounter with the North African side.
“Chidiebere Nnachi is back in training and ready to take the pitch by storm!” Enyimba shared on X.
The People’s Elephants will host Al Masry at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Currently at the bottom of their group with four points from four matches, Enyimba know that a victory over Al Masry is crucial to keeping their quarterfinal hopes alive. In the other group fixture, Zamalek will face Mozambique’s Black Bulls.
