“No man like Osimhen” — Turkish commentator offers tips to defeat Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe

By Monsurah Olatunji
Turkish sports commentator Abdulkerim Durmaz has shared his insights on how Galatasaray can defeat José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe in their upcoming Super Lig clash, offering strategic advice to bolster their title hopes.
The two teams will meet on Monday at Rams Park, with Fenerbahçe currently in better form than Galatasaray.
Despite this, Durmaz believes that the key to success for Okan Buruk’s side lies in the utilization of their star forward, Victor Osimhen.
Currently, Galatasaray leads Fenerbahçe by six points, and a win would extend their advantage to nine points at the top of the table.
Durmaz emphasized the importance of Osimhen’s aerial dominance and physical presence, suggesting that this could be the key to breaking down Mourinho’s team.
“Osimhen constantly receives the ball in the air for Galatasaray,” Durmaz explained, as reported by GsGazette.
“Fenerbahçe’s match against Anderlecht doesn’t compare. There is no man like Osimhen in Anderlecht.”
“If you give him the chance, Osimhen will collect the balls. If Galatasaray plays with numbers in the penalty area, they will create many opportunities. Barış and Sara are always looking for blind shots, and Osimhen supports that attack,” Durmaz continued.
Durmaz also pointed out that Galatasaray’s transition game might not be as effective against Fenerbahçe, suggesting that Mourinho’s team could surprise them if they’re not careful.
His advice was clear: “Galatasaray should start with Muslera and apply full-court pressure.”
With both teams fighting for the top spot, this derby is shaping up to be a crucial encounter in the race for the Super Lig title.
