NPFL: Like Enyimba like Katsina United, fans blasts disgraceful show

Football fans across the internet have blasted Nigeria Premier Football League side, Katsina United for their embarrassing show.
In a picture circulating on the internet, a player of the club, Ibrahim was seen wearing a jersey with a paper plastered of his name and number handwritten during their league clash against Sporting Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, on Sunday.
This is not the first time a Nigerian team will be involved in such act as Enyimba FC of Aba recently did the same at the inaugural African Football League.
“So, this is how Katsina United decided to number a player’s jersey in their game against Sporting Lagos. What is this, na?” – Kelvinekerete wrote.
Another X user, Ayobami2490 also said: “These clubs have no shame at all There is absolutely no excuse for this. shame on you @fckatsinaunited @katsinaunited whichever one is the correct handle make una share am.”
“Like how much is printing machine? And I’m very sure you can easily see a printer around any stadium that will get it done for you in no time,” Abednegolewey enquires.
“We allow people to get away with bad behavior too much. Maybe this is why this league might probably remain a joke for a long while,” Chidiarua commented.
“Katsina united player see as jersey number be for back. Like what’s this ffs. This country need a revolution aswr. Who really do una like this. Nawa o,” another user wrote.
Brown4063 said: “Oya na. At least Enyimba later released a statement for the mishap. Let’s wait and see katsina’s explanation because this evidence choke o!”
Lugiboss said: “This thing is lucrative. I go run am. Digitization and commercialization of the NPFL end to end.”
Meanwhile, Joy Ojeabulu, who is a hardened follower of the league and journalist posted pictures showing when Enyimba made similar appearance in the African Football League.
Along with the pictures was a action that reads; “Enyimba: I no get shame. Kastina United: I gba pass you.”
