Rita Chikwelu’s goal inspires Al Shabab to victory over Oluehi’s Eastern Flame

Nigeria midfielder, Rita Chikwelu scored a goal as her Saudi Arabia Women’s Premier League side, Al Shabab sealed a 2-0 win over Eastern Flame on Saturday.
The two goals recorded during the game came in each half of the encounter.
From a free kick at the edge of the box, a short pass was provided for Chikwelu to fire the ball into the back of the net beating her national team goalkeeper, Tochukwu Oluehi for her side’s opener in the 32nd minute.
After the interval, the host pushed to double the lead and were rewarded with 15 minutes left to the end of the game.
A corner kick was swung into the penalty area. With Eastern Flame players unable to clear the danger, Oriana Altuve doubled the lead for the host in the 75th minute.
After Ashleigh Plumptre’s hat-trick against Oluehi, the goalkeeper has conceded four goals against her national teammates in the Saudi Arabian women’s football top flight this season.
Al Shabab seats in the fifth position on the eight team Saudi Arabia Women’s Premier League table with seven points after five games, five points behind leaders, Al Nassr which will face Al Ahli on Saturday.
Eatsern Flame with three points is in the seventh position, three points ahead of bottom placed Riyadh.
