Simone Inzaghi focused on Al Hilal despite Juventus links, club source says

Simone Inzaghi has not held talks with Juventus and is concentrating on meeting his targets at Al Hilal, according to a source close to the Saudi club.
Reports in recent days have suggested the Italian manager is in negotiations to replace Luciano Spalletti at Juventus. The Serie A club are considering a change in the coming period if their results continue to decline, with Inzaghi reported to be among the leading alternatives.
Juventus have endured an unsettled season under Spalletti, whose position has been affected by inconsistent results, disagreements with the club’s management and confrontations with some players. Several reliable Italian sources have reported that the club have already begun exploring possible replacements.
However, a source close to Al Hilal told Kooora in an exclusive statement that Inzaghi had not entered negotiations with Juventus.
“ Inzaghi is currently focused on achieving his objectives with Al Hilal,” the source said.
The source added that the manager’s contract runs until the end of the season, but Al Hilal have yet to decide whether he will remain beyond that point.
“Inzaghi is under contract with Al Hilal until the end of the season, and the club have not yet decided whether he will continue or leave after that period,” the source said. “The real standard for evaluating him is his ability to achieve the league and Asian double.”
Inzaghi strengthened his position by guiding Al Hilal to a 3-2 victory over Al Qadsiah on Friday. The result came in the 11th round of the Roshn Saudi League and increased expectations around the team while contributing to a sense of stability within the club and among its supporters.
The Italian took charge of Al Hilal in June 2025 after terminating his contract with Inter Milan. During his first season, he won only the King’s Cup, a return that led to anger within the club.
His future will therefore be assessed at the end of the current campaign, with success in both the league and Asian competition identified as the key measure.
