Tim Sherwood praises Arsenal product, Alex Iwobi over Fulham win

Blackburn Rovers legend Tim Sherwood has praised Arsenal’s Hale End Academy graduates Alex Iwobi and Emile Smith Rowe for their crucial roles in Fulham’s 2-1 victory over Leicester City.

Smith Rowe opened the scoring, and Iwobi sealed the win with a second-half goal following Leicester’s equalizer.

Sherwood, speaking on Premier League Productions’ The Weekend Wrap, highlighted their contributions: “Two goals from the young boys from the Arsenal academy.

Iwobi and Smith Rowe made a significant impact. The goalkeeper could have done better on some of the shots, but it was a well-deserved win for Fulham.”

He also endorsed Fulham’s manager Marco Silva, noting: “Marco Silva is a very, very good manager with a solid group of players. They play an attractive style, and the fans are enjoying the football.”
