Transfer News: Chinyere Kalu sets ambitious goals with Real Betis

Newly signed Real Betis midfielder, Chinyere Kalu, is determined to make a significant impact with the Liga F club.

The 18-year-old, who recently signed a two-year deal with Betis after leaving Nigeria Women Football League club Nasarawa Amazons, was officially unveiled on Thursday.

Speaking with excitement, Kalu expressed her eagerness to contribute to the club’s success and forge strong connections with her new teammates.

“I’m so excited. I’m happy. I’m very excited to be here at Real Betis. I had a chance to speak with my teammates and my coach; they are so friendly to me. They welcomed me well, and I’m very happy about that,” she said in her first interview with the club.

Kalu, a creative midfielder, is committed to giving her best for the team. “I’m here to support the team, to give my best, and to make sure we get there,” she added.

Before joining Real Betis, Kalu played for several clubs in the Nigeria Women’s Football League, including Martins White Dove FC, Osun Babes FC, and Rivers Angels FC. She has also represented Nigeria at both the U-17 and U-20 levels.

With her sights set on success, Kalu is ready to begin this new chapter in her career with Real Betis.
