Sevilla coach calls on Chidera Ejuke to step up

Sevilla coach Garcia Pimienta has urged Chidera Ejuke to consistently deliver exceptional performances for the Spanish club.

The Nigeria international made an impact off the bench, scoring his first LaLiga goal in Sevilla’s 2-1 victory against Real Valladolid on Tuesday.

Pimienta praised Ejuke for his influential contributions, which helped change the momentum of the game in Sevilla’s favor.

He emphasized the need for the Super Eagles midfielder to showcase his qualities more frequently and elevate his performance to a higher level.

“For me, he is a top starter. He came on and made two very important plays,” Pimienta stated, as reported by Ondacero.

“That’s what he’s there for, so I have no doubts. I congratulate him and hope he continues this way.”

Sevilla’s next challenge comes against Athletic Club on Saturday, September 28, as they currently sit in 13th place with eight points from seven matches.
