UEL: Victor Osimhen praises Galatasaray teammate Mauro Icardi

Nigeria international Victor Osimhen praised teammate Mauro Icardi after Galatasaray’s 3-1 victory over PAOK in their Europa League opener.

Despite rumors of tension between them following Osimhen’s arrival, the Super Eagles star expressed his eagerness to collaborate and learn from the experienced forward.

Osimhen played a pivotal role in the match, contributing with a header off a Dries Mertens corner that deflected in for the opening goal.

He also provided an assist for Yunus, who scored a powerful shot, marking Osimhen’s third assist in as many games.

With 12 minutes left, Icardi replaced Osimhen and scored the final goal, solidifying the team’s win.

Osimhen reiterated Icardi’s calming presence on the field, saying, “When he scored, it was like the game was over.” He concluded by thanking the team and their supporters for the win.
