Vivian Ikechukwu inspires Besiktas to victory over Fatih Vatan Spor

Nigeria forward, Vivian Ikechukwu scored her fourth league goal of the season as Besiktas pipped Fatih Vatan Spor 2-1 in a as her Turkish Super Lig women clash on Sunday.
The former Rivers Angels star scored the opening goal of the game in the 14th minute to put her side in the driving seat.
In the additional minutes of the second half, Shameeka Fishley doubled the lead for the visitors.
The host pulled a goal back four minutes into the additional minutes of the game but it wasn’t enough to avoid a loss.
Ikechukwu has scored four goals in the league this season and is Nigeria’s second top goal scorer behind Atasehir’s Taiwo Lawal who is close to getting a double figure.
Besiktas occupy the sixth position on the table with 32 points after 18 matches.
They are 14 points behind league leader, Galatasaray. Up next is a clash with Beylerbeyi on February 4, 2024.
