Waliu Ojetoye: Nigerian defender seals move to Vitkovice from Vlasim

Nigerian right-back Waliu Ojetoye has joined Czech side Vitkovice from Vlasim in a completed transfer that strengthens the MSFL club’s defensive options ahead of the new campaign.
The 22-year-old, born in Lagos and standing at 1.80m, finalised his switch on 25 July 2026 and is registered as a defender who primarily operates at right-back. He is right-footed and will compete for a place in the Vitkovice back line as the club prepare for domestic league and cup commitments.
Ojetoye arrives from Vlasim, who play in the Czech National Football League (ChNL), stepping into a new environment in Ostrava with Vitkovice competing in the MSFL structure. The move marks a change of level and setting for the Nigerian, who will now look to establish himself in a different part of the Czech football pyramid.
Although he is yet to make an appearance for Vitkovice in the 2026-27 campaign, Ojetoye is eligible for selection in the MOL Cup and league fixtures. His profile as a specialist right-back offers Vitkovice an additional option in wide defensive areas as they shape their squad for the season.
Ojetoye’s transfer to Vitkovice is confirmed as a completed move from Vlasim, with the Nigerian defender now officially part of the MSFL side’s squad.
