West Bromwich Albion are determined to keep in-form Nigerian striker, Josh Maja, despite growing speculation linking the forward with a potential move away from the club.
Maja, currently the second-highest scorer in the Sky Bet Championship with 12 goals to his name, has caught the eye of Spanish clubs Valencia and Celta Vigo, who are reportedly keen on securing his services.
However, West Brom are resolute in their decision to retain their star forward, especially following the arrival of new owners, as reported by The Express & Star.
The Baggies, who are pushing for promotion to the Premier League, view Maja as a crucial part of their promotion bid and are not willing to part with him at this critical stage of the season.
Currently sitting sixth in the Championship and within the promotion playoffs bracket, West Brom are relying on Maja’s goals to help secure their return to the top flight of English football.
