Ambrose Nmesoma: Abia Angels forward gets full scholarship from Alcorn University

Nigeria forward Ambrose Nmesoma Grace is on her way to the United States of America (USA), where she has gotten a full scholarship.

Alcorn University women’s soccer team announced the arrival of Nmesoma from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, Abia Angels.

The 16-year-old young sensation played for Gift of Life Academy before moving to Abia Angels in 2022. She helped the Umuahia based out escaped relegation at the end of the 2023/2024 NWFL Premiership season.

An intelligent striker, Nmesoma has a high work rate, powerful, skillful, and powerful.

She has a vision for goals with great crosses, discipline, and mental alertness in and outside the pitch.

With her scholarship, she joined the list of Nigerian women players in the United States University system. Others include Omamuzo Edafe, Deborah Abiodun, and Etim Edidiong.

Alcorn State University is a public historically black land-grant university founded in 1871 and the women’s soccer team plays in the NCAA Division One.
