Nigeria’s senior women’s national team captain, Raheedat Ajibade, has sponsored 11 Coaches for the 3rd batch of the NIS/LSFA Coaching Certification Course.

She extended this olive branch of care to coaches through her foundation.

Secretary of Lagos State Football Association LSFA, Okikioposu-Rabiu Akeem, confirmed to www.ineswsexpress.com on Monday morning that Ajibade, who is currently playing for Athletico Madrid of Spain, had paid for 11 coaches that would be part of the 3rd batch of the NIS/LSFA, Coaching Certification Course.

“I am pleased to inform our football coaches and other football stakeholders in the state that the Captain of Super Falcons, through her foundation has shown love to our coaches by sponsoring eleven of them for the Coaching Certification course, and her foundation has paid the money into LSFA account.

“Additionally, she has also pledged to always give back to society and urged the Lagos FA to try as much as possible to give adequate information on future programs so that her Foundation can be part of it,” he said.

Akeem admonished other well-meaning personalities and corporate bodies to follow in the footsteps of Ajibade in supporting the Association programs.

The Chairman of LSFA, Alhaji Liameed Gafar also echoed Akeem’s views while appreciating the kind gesture of Ajibade.

It should be noted that the Super Falcons forward has a Diploma in Sports Management and Coaching Psychology from El Roi London University.
