Victor Osimhen hints at staying at Galatasaray amid transfer speculations

By Monsurah Olatunji

Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has hinted at staying at Galatasaray following rumors linking him with a move away from Napoli.

Currently on a season-long loan at the Turkish club, Osimhen has expressed his happiness with life in the Turkish Super Lig.

The 25-year-old striker, who joined the Lions in the summer, has been in excellent form, scoring 12 goals across all competitions, including a brace in Galatasaray’s recent 5-1 victory over Kayserispor.

Osimhen has been linked with several top European clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and PSG. Reports suggest that Manchester United and Chelsea are preparing €75 million bids for the striker.

Despite these rumors, Osimhen has spoken about his contentment with his current situation at Galatasaray.

“I think it was very important to come to this team and be a part of this big club,” he said in a post by A Spor on X.

“They made me feel at home. I adapted very easily with Barış, Yunus, Gabi, and Dries. I learned their game quickly.”

He also highlighted Galatasaray’s impressive European campaign, saying, “We are undefeated in Europe. We have to go step by step. We continue on our way in the Super Lig.”
