OFFICIAL: Plateau United signs Fansanmi Olaniyi from Shooting Stars

Plateau United have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Fasanmi Olaniyi for the remainder of the current Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

Olaniyi, a 25-year-old striker, joins the Peace Boys from fellow NPFL club, Shooting Stars. In the first half of the season, Olaniyi made nine appearances for Shooting Stars, registering one assist.

The striker is expected to bolster Plateau United’s offensive play and help resolve their ongoing goal-scoring challenges.

Shooting Stars will face Plateau United in Matchday 22 of the league on Sunday at the newly constructed Jos Stadium.

Olaniyi has previously played for NPFL side Lobi Stars and Kenyan club AFC Leopards.
