Shukurat Oladipo sets targets after AS Roma switch

Nigeria international Shukurat Oladipo has set the ball rolling with her personal and team targets after completing a move to Italian champions AS Roma.

The 20-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Italian Serie A side unveiled on Tuesday.

During her first interview as AS Roma player, Oladipo stated her targets.

“My target is to help the team to achieve their objectives and plan for the season,” she said.

“My other target is to improve as a player and to build the connection between me and the coaches, teammates, fans, and entire AS Roma family.”

She joined AS Roma from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, FC Robo Queens, where her talents were shown, earning her call-up to the U-20 and senior women’s national teams.

“I am a hardworking, passionate, and versatile player with a passion for the game,” She continued.

“Coming to Italy and playing for AS Roma is a very big life-changing experience for me, and it will help my career to grow as a person and footballer, it will help me to grow.

“I am very happy. I fell so excited. It’s been an opportunity for me to join a very big team as AS Roma.” She concluded.

Oladipo will wear jersey number 19 at the Club as they plan to win the league title after UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) ouster in the group stage.
