Shukurat Oladipo completes move to AS Roma from FC Robo Queens

Italian Serie A side, AS Roma has announced the signing of Nigeria’s Shukurat Damilola Oladipo.

The 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a contract that runs until 30 June 2027.

Shukurat heads to Rome from FC Robo Queens in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.

She made 178 appearances for the Lagos-based outfit and will put on jersey number 19 with the Italian Champions.

At international level, Oladipo took part in the U-20 World Cup and has two senior international caps to her name.

The youngster started her career at Heroes Queens at an amateur level before joining the Lagos Landladies.

She became the fourth Nigerian player in recent time to play in the Italian Women’s top flight.

Osinachi Ohale, Jennifer Echegini, and Olamide Adugbe recently played for AS Roma, Juventus, and Napoli in the Italian Serie A women before Oladipupo.
