Nigeria international Chioma Olise visited her former club, Royal Queens Football Club of Warri, on Friday.
The Trabzonspor player presented her jersey and gift items to the team.
Olise started her journey at the Canadian Geese helping the team gain promotion to the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.
Before moving to Turkey, she won the NWFL Premiership title with Edo Queens as well as the West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) trophy.
The midfielder was part of the Edo Queens side that finished fourth in the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League.
She moved to Trabzonspor last season scoring a goal with multiple assists in her debut season in Europe.
Upon return to Nigeria from Turkey, she has been giving back to those who contributed to her career success by presenting her replica jersey to them.
Her gesture signified an act of gratitude and giving back to those who made her who she is in the football ecosystem.
