CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifier: WAFU B releases full fixture schedule

The West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B has confirmed the fixture schedule for the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifying tournament, set to run from August 23 to September 5, 2025 in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.

The draw, conducted on Thursday, placed Nigerian champions Bayelsa Queens in Group B, where they will face Ghana’s Police Ladies, Togo’s ASKO, and Benin Republic’s Sam Nelly FC.

Group A is headlined by Ivorian powerhouse ASEC Mimosas, alongside Niger’s AS Garde and Burkina Faso’s USFA.

The competition will open on August 23 with ASEC Mimosas squaring off against AS GNN, before Bayelsa Queens kick off their campaign against Police Ladies later the same day.

The group stage runs until August 30, with the semifinals scheduled for September 2.

The third-place playoff and the final will be staged on September 5, with the tournament winner booking a ticket to the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League.

Hasaacas Ladies (Ghana), Bayelsa Queens (Nigeria), Apem Darkoa (Ghana), and Edo Queens (Nigeria) are previously winners of the tournament from 2021 to 2024.
