All 20 players of Nigeria’s U17 Boys National Team have successfully passed the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) tests ahead of the 2025 WAFU-B U17 Boys Tournament in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.

The mandatory age-grade assessment was conducted in the early hours of Thursday by the CAF Medical Team.

The test confirmed the eligibility of the squad for the regional competition.

The Golden Eaglets will begin their campaign on Wednesday, September 24, with a clash against Benin Republic, before facing Burkina Faso in their final Group B fixture.

Group A consists of hosts Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Niger Republic, and Togo, setting the stage for a competitive tournament as teams battle for places at the continental level.

The tournament serves as Qualifiers for the next U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
